sheriff-tJanitorial franchise based in Charleston, SC provides house cleaning services and monetary donation to family of slain Charleston County Deputy Joe Matuskovic.

In the early morning hours of September 9, 2014, 360clean’s Director of Franchise Development, Teri Bradshaw, received a text message from her brother, Erik Brown, notifying her that the Charleston County Sheriff’s Deputy killed the night before was Joe Matuskovic, his soon-to-be brother-in-law.   Mrs. Bradshaw had spent many a child’s birthday party and family holiday with Joe and his fiancée, Rhianne Hearn, and their children; therefore, she asked if there was anything at all she could do to help.

A few days later Mrs. Bradshaw received another call from her brother to see if 360clean would provide house cleaning services to Ms. Hearn and her children as she had experienced a steady flow of traffic in her home since Joe’s death, but was not in any physical or emotional state to clean the house herself.  360clean focuses solely on commercial cleaning, but Bradshaw contacted 360clean franchise owners, Sandy Williams and Will Garvin, of Goose Creek, whose daughter, Kandace, is in law enforcement with the City of North Charleston.  Williams and Garvin jumped at the chance to provide some relief to Matuskovic’s widow, and also gained the assistance of another 360clean franchise owner, Aamina Smalls, of Summerville.

On Saturday morning, September 13, 2014, both franchises and a small crew showed up at Deputy Matuskovic’s home and provided Ms. Hearn and her children with a top-to-bottom clean.  Before leaving, Mr. Garvin let Ms. Hearn know that if she was in need of another clean, they would be happy to return.

In addition to the cleaning services, Barry and Allison Bodiford, founders of 360clean, have made a commitment to donate $1,000 to the fund set up in Deputy Matuskovic’s name at the SC Federal Credit Union.  When asked why 360clean decided to step up to help the family, Mr. Bodiford said, “One of our own had personal ties to the fallen deputy, but more importantly, as a company that was founded in the Lowcountry, it is the least we can do to honor Deputy Matuskovic, who was killed in the line of duty while trying to protect the citizens in a place 360clean calls home.”
